供应SOI 9-bit optical delay module
This single-channel 9-bit variable optical delay module comprises a 9-bit variable optical delay chip based on thick-film SOI silicon photonics technology and a driver module. The variable optical delay chip adopts a binary multi-stage delay loop structure, integrating a delay switching switch and a delayed optical weguide circuit containing equalization and clutter suppression attenuators. The delay switching time is less than 1μs, with a maximum total delay of 1022ps; the delay accuracy is 0.5ps, and the on-chip single-stage delay loss is as low as 0.8dB/bit.
Compared to traditional electrical delay chips that use microwe transmission lines, optical delayers can be applied to any microwe and millimeter-we frequency band, exhibiting extremely low crosstalk and extremely high extinction ratio of non-target delay signals. A single-channel 9-bit adjustable optical delayer module with a maximum delay of 1 ns is as small as 3.2cm × 2cm × 0.6cm, significantly reducing system size. Due to the optical carrier frequency being up to four orders of magnitude higher than the microwe signal frequency, photonic integrated delayer chips he signal processing capabilities covering the entire frequency band from meter wes to millimeter wes, making them suitable for beamforming applications in various ultra-wideband phased arrays.
